What We Won’t Do…
We believe transparency is important for building patient/doctor trust. While most eye care centers focus on what they can accomplish for their patients, sometimes it is important to know what a practice won’t do.
WE WON’T APPROVE YOU FOR A PROCEDURE UNLESS YOU’RE AN EXCELLENT CANDIDATE
Some eyes are simply not suited for laser vision correction. Even with today’s most advanced technology, approx. 20% of LASIK applicants are advised to consider another method of vision improvement. Similarly, not all cataract patients require cataract surgery right away.
Dr. Lipstock will not recommend a procedure unless he knows our practice can achieve the outcome you want. Instead, we explore a full array of modern vision correction technologies including PRK and Refractive Lens Exchange to find a suitable solution for your unique vision.
WE WON’T JUMP ON A TECHNOLOGY BANDWAGON
Dr. Lipstock takes great care to research new technologies and explore the benefits and potential complications of each new procedure that becomes available. At Lipstock LASIK & Cataract Center, we focus on achieving incredible results for our patients at competitive prices. We won’t compromise on our care or increase costs for our patients by using technologies that do not produce better visual results.
We won’t rush you
As Dr. Lipstock says, “we’re not running a production line. We’re never in a hurry. We never take shortcuts, and we’re answerable only to our patients.” Our team is entrusted with our patients’ eye health and we take care to do our due diligence to achieve the best vision possible.
WE WON’T MAKE DECISIONS BASED ON THE DIRECTIONS OF A DISTANT CORPORATE OFFICE
Being a small business allows us to control our own standards. Dr Lipstock is very involved in the decision making of the practice including: types of equipment, how often we upgrade our technology, the number of people on the patient care staff, and hours of operation. We don’t rely on shareholders or a board of directors.
We won’t subject you to sales pressure
The purpose of our LASIK consultation is to verify that you’re a good candidate – not to subject you to sales pressure. If you are a good candidate for LASIK, we are happy to discuss next steps and affordability but we are not running a production line – so relax and leave your concerns and your checkbook at home!
We won’t leave you in suspense
