Myth: I'm not a candidate for LASIK

It doesn't matter if you're farsighted, nearsighted or have astigmatism; these all have to do with the shape of the eye and LASIK gently and precisely changes the shape of the cornea (the front window of the eye) so you can see clearly. It doesn't matter if you're young or old since LASIK can usually be done if you're between the ages of 18 and 70.

Myth: I'm over 40 so I'll just be trading distance glasses for reading glasses
